What is Plasma Injection?

Plasma Injection is a non-surgical cosmetic operation, a modern technology for a completely natural treatment method. It is used to treat many health and cosmetic problems alike. 

The Plasma is extracted from the patient’s blood, the plasma is separated from the red and the white blood cells to be prepared and then injected into the areas where treatment is needed.

The platelets, which are rich in plasma, form 55% of the person’s blood. The Plasma is a transparent liquid composed of a homogeneous mixture of water, about 90% of that mixture, which contains many important elements such as; Carbohydrates, lipoproteins, mineral salts, and a host of hormones, in addition to other ingredients.

Pre-Plasma Injection Instructions

There are some simple tips that must be followed before the Plasma injection procedure; 

  1. Conduct all specific checkups and tests, to make sure the person is eligible, and ready to undergo the Plasma injection procedure. 
  2. Abstain from all blood diluting drugs, such as; Ibuprofen, and Multi- Vitamine Group, for they contain (A,E), minimum a week before.
  3. Avoid taking certain supplements, such as Fatty Acids Omega-3, before performing Plasma injection.
  4. Refrain from natural blood-diluting drinks, such as green tea, blueberry, and pineapple juice.
  5.  Avoid Smoking and drinking Alcohol at least two weeks before the operation.
  6. Eat a proper meal before the plasma injection session.

Stages of Plasma Injection

Step 1: Clinical Examination
A set of necessary tests are performed to ensure the patient’s body is ready before the injection.
Step 2: Patient’s Preparation
A sample of the patient’s blood is taken, for which the Plasma is separated, purified, and prepared in special needles.
Step 3: Anesthesia
Local anesthesia is used for the patient’s comfort, either by using an anesthetic cream locally, or by using an ice-cold air spray just before the injection.
Step 4: Plasma Injection
The doctor carefully injects the plasma into the areas to be treated, using very fine needles, then cold compresses are placed on the injection site for several minutes.

Post-Plasma Injection Instructions

  1. Rest for the first two days after the injection.
  2. Keep the injected places away from water for two days.
  3. Refrain from scratching the injected areas within the first 12 hours after the injection.
  4. Avoid direct sunlight and high heat.
  5. Commit to taking the drugs prescribed by your doctor; antibiotics, and anti-allergy meds, to prevent swelling, pain, and itching.
