What is Breast Augmentation

Breast Augmentation is a simple and very safe cosmetic surgery, performed under general anesthesia, aims to transform the breast shape, by giving it more rounded, volume, and firmer shape. Certain fillings of Silicone or Saline Fluid are used, in which the doctor determines the type of filling based on the patient’s age, skin type, body shape, and the desired size.

Age is a key factor in a doctor’s choosing certain fillings, he either chooses Silicone, or Saline fillings.

• Silicone Fillings

Consists of Silicone shells, which is filled with Silicone gel; transparent, viscous liquid, used for over-twenty-aged patients. 

• Saline Fillings

Made from Saline solution, it gives a relatively larger volume than Silicone Fillings. It is given in different quantities, to suit the required size, and used for over-eighteen-aged patients.
